Claddagh Galway, 1900
Galway at the turn of the twentieth century remains a working west-coast port where old fishing customs live alongside Victorian institutions. This walk moves from the bay and the Claddagh's whitewashed, partly thatched village through the docks, markets and medieval streets to the university quadrangle and the salmon weir beneath the bridge.
