The Castle of the Masovian Dukes in Czersk is a medieval Brick Gothic stronghold whose surviving elements are primarily brick towers, sections of curtain wall and two wing fragments. Built around the turn of the 14th–15th centuries, it later lost much of its defensive walls but remains a recognisable medieval castle site. Today visitors see the two principal towers, low wall remnants and an eighteenth‑century brick bridge at the approach.

A red‑brick medieval silhouette dominated by two surviving towers, a tall cylindrical tower and a four‑sided square gate tower, linked by full‑height red‑brick curtain walls and low remains of the north and east wings. Masonry is uniformly red‑brown brick sitting on stone foundations; openings are narrow window slits and arched gateway passages. The inner ward is an open grassy courtyard; an eighteenth‑century brick bridge marks the main approach and external stairs run up to the wall level.

The Castle of the Masovian Dukes at Czersk, 36 kilometres south of Warsaw, is a Brick Gothic stronghold built at the turn of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries by Duke Janusz I. Its surviving elements are chiefly brick: two principal towers, sections of curtain wall and fragments of the north and east wings.
The castle was partially ruined in 1656, during the war with the Swedes, when the stronghold was captured and demolished. Later, during the Prussian Partition, its defensive walls were ordered demolished, ending its military importance; today the towers, the wall remnants and an eighteenth-century brick bridge at the approach remain.
