Stobnica Castle
Stobnica Castle is a contemporary Revivalist building in Stobnica, Poland, built to imitate a large medieval fortress. As of the early 2020s the complex is still under construction and partially accessible to visitors via an educational path. Its location at the edge of the Noteć Forest and a Natura 2000 area has been controversial.

The shape it held in its prime.
A large red-brick Revivalist castle set on a narrow island or promontory surrounded by a water-filled moat, backed by dense pine forest. Massive light-coloured stone lower curtain walls with crenellated parapets enclose inner brick ranges; multiple round and square towers punctuate the curtain, and a very tall, rectangular central keep with high arched window-openings rises above the complex. Several façades show scaffolding and a tall construction crane; roofs are mostly flat battlemented parapets with a few pitched sections.
