Minack Theatre
The Minack Theatre is an open-air cliff-top theatre at Porthcurno, Cornwall, built into solid granite with terraces of stone seating facing the Atlantic. Created from the 1930s by Rowena Cade, the site combines carved stone terraces, a raised semicircular stage and small stone dressing rooms set into the cliff. It remains an active performance venue with public access year-round.

Perched on a granite headland, the theatre is a series of concentric stone terraces carved into bedrock facing a semicircular raised stage and low stone proscenium. Pale, weathered Cornish granite and concrete form stepped seating, axial stairs and low parapet walls; a few short timber balustrades painted dark/red punctuate upper terraces. The stage area has shallow concentric steps and paved stone flooring; the open sea and distant headland form the immediate backdrop.
