Putin's Palace
An Italianate palace complex on the Black Sea coast near Gelendzhik, Russia, assembled from multiple buildings on a large fenced estate. The site comprises a main house with two storeys around a formal courtyard, plus many outbuildings including a church, amphitheatre, helipad, greenhouse and subterranean tasting rooms. It was designed by an Italian architect and equipped with extensive leisure interiors such as a large indoor pool, theater, wine cellar and hookah lounge.

A two-storey pale-stone Italianate main building arranged around a rectangular formal courtyard: a colonnaded arcade of round columns and semicircular arches at ground level, a continuous first-floor balustraded terrace, and rows of tall rectangular windows. The courtyard is paved with light stone, formal clipped lawn beds and a circular two-tier fountain at its centre. Rooflines are low and clad in metal; overall surfaces are finished in cream-coloured stone and plaster.
