What Abanca Balaídos Stadium looked like in its prime.
A low bowl stadium with a wide expanse of vivid green pitch surrounded by multi-tiered seating in alternating bands of sky-blue and white. The main Tribuna has a deep cantilevered roof supported by red-painted steel trusses; other stands are concrete with seated tiers and advertising hoardings at pitch level. The rebuilt Marcador stand has a continuous façade of seats, and goal ends are open with stepped terraces and visible access ramps. Surfaces are clean and renovated.
