A compact castle of pale pink‑grey ashlar blocks with pronounced coursing, dominated by a tall cylindrical tower with a conical roof at the right and multiple steep, copper-clad pyramidal roofs and spires to the left. A wide monumental stone stair leads up to a carved stone entrance portal set into the central block; mullioned and rectangular windows puncture the façades. Low parkland and mature trees sit around the base on a gentle slope; stone balustrades and lampposts frame the approach. The building appears complete and sound.

Despite its medieval style, Teleborg Castle was built in 1900 by the architect firm Lindvall & Boklund, as a wedding present from Count Fredrik Bonde af Björnö to his wife Anna Koskull. Seventeen years later both had died, and the castle was used as a girls' school and rental accommodation.
In 1964 the city of Växjö bought the castle and its surrounding park from the Bonde family. Its cluster of cylindrical and polygonal towers under steep conical and pyramidal roofs now stands in the northern Linnaeus University area near Lake Trummen, used mainly as an entertainment, wedding and conference venue, with the nearby university occupying parts of the building.
