Bell Rock Lighthouse is an offshore masonry lighthouse built on the Bell Rock (Inchcape) reef 11 miles east of the Firth of Tay, Scotland. Completed in 1810, the cylindrical, interlocking-granite tower supports a glazed lantern at the top and provided living and working spaces for its keepers before automation.

A 35‑metre tapering cylindrical tower of interlocking Cairngall granite rises from a scarped, stepped base set into the low reef. The shaft is smoothly faced and whitewashed above the waterline while the lower courses are darkened by sea-staining. Small vertical slit windows ascend the tower. At the summit a polygonal iron-framed glazed lantern sits on a circular gallery with iron railings and external maintenance platforms and ladders attached to the stonework. Waves break at the rock around the base.
