Jet d'Eau
The Jet d'Eau is a large vertical water fountain in the harbour (rade) of Geneva where Lake Geneva flows into the Rhône. Its single, high-pressure nozzle throws a narrow, white column of lake water straight up to about 140–150 metres, visible from across the city. The fountain sits on a small platform in the lake and is reached from the left-bank stone jetty.
