Donbass Arena
Donbas Arena is an oval football stadium in Donetsk, opened in 2009 and built for FC Shakhtar Donetsk with a capacity of about 50–55 thousand spectators. It features a low, sloping metal roof and a full-height glazed façade wrapping a single-tier bowl with orange seats, and hosted matches during UEFA Euro 2012. The venue has been closed and partly damaged since 2014 due to the armed conflict in the region.
