The shape it held in its prime.
A long, three-storey Baroque palace faced in pale yellow and cream with vertical pilasters dividing regular rows of tall rectangular windows; low red clay tile roofs run along the block. A prominent central clock tower rises from the roofline, its square drum giving way to a multi-stage green copper spire with bulbous tiers and a gilded finial. The palace fronts a paved town approach with geometric gardens set back on the axial side; façades are formal and symmetrical.
