The shape it held in its prime.

Low, rectangular three‑storey stone house with a crenellated parapet and regular rows of tall rectangular windows across the main façade. A prominent cylindrical tower with narrow vertical slit windows and a crenellated top anchors the left corner, with a second taller round tower rising behind. Pale grey dressed masonry, several slender chimneys and a flat, battlemented roofline. The house sits beside an ornamental lake, set behind broad clipped lawns and mature trees; complete and maintained at its prime.
