Castle Upton
Castle Upton is a historic country house styled as a castellated castle in Templepatrick, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, originating from early 17th-century Norton construction and later owned by the Upton (Viscounts Templetown) family. It was remodelled in a castellated neoclassical manner to designs by Robert Adam in the late 18th century and altered again in the 19th century; in the 20th century it was restored and has been used as a private residence and wedding venue.

The shape it held in its prime.
Low, irregular castellated silhouette of pale grey/cream ashlar and rubble stone set behind a broad lawn, dominated at the left by a cylindrical, battlemented tower with narrow vertical slits. A lower crenellated east wing runs across the centre with rows of rectangular sash windows; to the right a round drum-like projection and a taller gabled block with low-pitched slate roofs rise behind the parapet. Ivy climbs portions of the façade; the north-east stable ranges form a formal double courtyard.
