Torre Grossa
Torre Grossa is the tallest tower in the walled hill town of San Gimignano in Tuscany, Italy. The stone tower was built in 1310 and stands 54 metres high, rising above the town's terracotta roofs and the surrounding Tuscan countryside.

A tall, rectangular ashlar stone tower rising to a flat, battlemented crown with a later open belfry and small pyramidal spire above; the shaft is plain with a few narrow arched windows and scattered vegetation in mortar joints. A row of corbelled arches runs beneath the parapet. The tower’s pale beige-grey limestone contrasts with the orange terracotta roofs of the town below and the rolling fields visible on the horizon.
