Bolków Castle is a medieval Piast dynasty fortress on a steep Castle Hill above the town of Bolków in Lower Silesia, Poland. Erected in the 13th century and substantially enlarged in the 16th century, it became one of the region's largest fortifications and retains extensive concentric walls, towers and a dominant round keep.

A massive stone fortress clustered around a tall cylindrical keep rising from the highest point of a rocky hill; the round keep has a crenellated top and rough-faced masonry. Thick concentric curtain walls with rounded towers and walked parapets encircle a broad grassy inner bailey where a small white two-storey service building stands. The castle sits above a sharp precipice on one side and slopes down toward the town on the other, with weathered grey-brown stone and patched brick repairs.

Bolków Castle crowns Castle Hill above the Nysa Szalona river, where the hillside falls away in a sharp 90-metre precipice. The monumental Piast dynasty castle, erected in the 13th century to defend nearby trade routes, was one of the largest fortresses of the Świdnica-Jawor Duchy, an upland stronghold covering 7,600 square metres.

Substantially enlarged in the 16th century, it ranked among the region's great fortifications. After the bishop's death in 1543 the castle was transferred to his family as a fief; in 1596 it passed into the hands of the Zedlitz family, and in 1703 it was bought by Cistercian monks from Krzeszów.

In 1922 the House of Women was rebuilt, the ground floor becoming a youth hostel and the first floor a regional museum. The castle retains extensive concentric walls, towers and the dominant round keep that still commands the town of Bolków.
