The shape it held in its prime.
A compact, ornamented brick-and-stone monument with multiple cylindrical and polygonal towers, carved pinnacles and a crenellated parapet. Façades mix exposed brick courses and carved stone reliefs, with ship prows, a bronze horse/pegasus motif, arched and latticed windows, a Gothic rose window, tiled cornices and small terraces; rooflines end in narrow balustrades and sculptural finials. The building sits on a low hill near Benalmádena and was complete and intact in 1994.
