Wik Castle
Vik Castle (often spelled Wik) is a 15th-century castle in Balingsta, Uppsala Municipality, Uppland, Sweden, built as a large tower house. Constructed of stone and brick, it is considered one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Sweden and today functions as a conference centre. It was declared a Swedish national monument and is the birthplace of chemist Svante Arrhenius.
