Compact complex of brick and plastered buildings on a raised fieldstone foundation beside the Kävlingeån; a taller red‑brick gatehouse with a whitewashed arched entrance and stepped gable abuts a lower plastered wing with small rectangular windows, both capped by steep orange clay tile roofs. The brickwork shows blind arcading beneath the gable, window openings are modest and regularly spaced, and the site is approached across a grassy forecourt with mature trees and river to one side.

Borgeby Castle lies in Lomma Municipality in Scania, southern Sweden, beside the Kävlingeån, the largest river in the province. The surviving ensemble spans three centuries of building, a fifteenth-century tower, a sixteenth-century gatehouse and a mid-seventeenth-century main house, set on a fieldstone plinth and surrounded by parkland.

In 1886 the manor was acquired at auction by Lars Pehrsson. Lomma municipality became the owner in 2007, and in 2012 the castle was sold to Borgeby slott AB.
