Dunraven Castle
Dunraven Castle was a castellated 19th‑century mansion on the South Wales coast near Southerndown, rebuilt as a hunting lodge in the early 1800s and remodelled later in the century. It remained in residential use through the early 20th century, was demolished in 1963, and several ancillary structures including the gatehouse and walled garden survive and are listed.

The shape it held in its prime.
Symmetrical three‑storey ashlar façade with two square corner towers capped by crenellated parapets and multiple tall brick chimneys. The central bay is occupied by a full‑height glass conservatory with a pitched glass roof and large vertical glazing panels flanking an arched stone entrance ringed by climbing ivy. Regular rectangular sash windows punctuate the wings, and a wide gravel approach bordered by low clipped hedges leads to the entrance forecourt.
