Air Albania Stadium

Arena Kombëtare, commercially Air Albania Stadium, is an all-seater multi-purpose football stadium in central Tirana with a capacity of about 22,500. Designed by Marco Casamonti, the structure is a faceted rectangular form clad in alternating red and black metal panels combined with broad glass surfaces and is anchored by a 112-m tower at one corner. It was built on the site of the former Qemal Stafa Stadium and opened in 2019.

What Air Albania Stadium looked like in its prime.

A low, curved eight-faceted rectangular bowl wrapped in alternating vertical red and black metal panels interspersed with bands of reflective glass. The façade reads as a rhythmic grid of projecting triangular panels; the seating bowl sits on a raised stone plinth with broad steps and recessed entrance portals under an overhanging roof. A slender 112‑metre glass-and-panel tower rises at one corner, and a wide paved city plaza sits before the main approaches.
