Royal Shakespeare Theatre
The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is a riverside brick playhouse in Stratford-upon-Avon that houses the Royal Shakespeare Company and the smaller Swan Theatre. The complex contains a 1,040+ seat thrust-stage auditorium, public terraces and a 36-metre observation tower, and sits beside the Bancroft Gardens on the western bank of the River Avon.
