What MHPArena looked like in its prime.
Low-oval stadium with a continuous white steel ring running around the top and a translucent, slightly off-white PVC-coated polyester membrane roof stretched beneath it. Concrete and glazed main-stand façades form a multi-storey base; steep, closely packed seating tiers drop to a lowered grass pitch. The bowl is compact and enclosed, with the roof covering the longitudinal stands and most of the end stands; surrounding parkland, exhibition halls and highways sit close by.
