A subterranean complex hewn from warm ochre‑brown globigerina limestone: smooth, curved chamber walls, rounded doorways and carved niches; concentric benches and stepped, circular cuttings; narrow rock staircases and winding low passages; the surfaces show tool marks and weathered smoothing. Scale is human, with several larger vaulted rooms linked by low corridors; light at prime would be sparse and directional from lamps or torches, accenting the carved relief and recesses.
