HMNB Clyde
His Majesty's Naval Base Clyde (commonly Faslane) is the Royal Navy's principal shore establishment on the Gare Loch in western Scotland and the home base for the United Kingdom's fleet of nuclear submarines. The base complex includes Faslane (HMS Neptune) on Gare Loch and the Royal Naval Armaments Depot (RNAD) Coulport on Loch Long, together with extensive quays, maintenance yards and security perimeters.
