A rectangular, red-brick stadium set within dense terraced housing and tree belts, with a bright green playing pitch at its centre and pale blue and claret seating tiers. The Trinity Road façade presents Dutch-gabled brickwork, mosaics and broad stone steps beneath a long pale corrugated roof; the Holte End shows a large exposed steel roof truss over steep banked seating; the Doug Ellis and North Stands form single- and two-tier brick-fronted bowls. Surrounding are paved forecourts, flagpoles and nearby streets.
