Fischbach Castle
Fischbach Castle is a château-style castle located above the town of Fischbach in central Luxembourg. It has one of the longest recorded histories of Luxembourg's castles and in modern times has served as a residence for members of the grand-ducal family. The building sits within dense woodland on a hillside overlooking the village below.

The shape it held in its prime.
A pale yellow, three-storey château-like house set high on a densely wooded hillside above a small village. The main block has a steep slate mansard roof with several dormer windows and multiple brick chimneys; the façade shows rows of tall white-framed windows with shutters and patches of climbing ivy. A lower side wing with a shallower roof connects to the main block, and a stone balustraded terrace projects from the south-facing front, all surrounded by mature deciduous trees.
