Meyendorff Castle
Meyendorff Castle (Meindorf) is a Châteauesque manor house constructed 1874–1885 near Barvikha in Odintsovsky District, Moscow Oblast as the private residence of the Meyendorff family. The building combines steep slate roofs, conical and pyramidal towers, patterned brickwork and tall decorative chimneys; in the 21st century it serves as the State Residence Barvikha, a country residence of the President of the Russian Federation.

The shape it held in its prime.
Compact three-storey château composed of interlocking volumes with steep pyramidal and gabled roofs, a prominent tall pyramidal roof at the centre, and a round corner turret topped by a conical roof. Facades use light masonry with contrasting brick patterning on the right wing, mullioned windows with stone surrounds, corbelled cornices and stringcourses, and multiple tall brick chimneys with horizontal banding. A formal circular parterre and gravel drive sit in front, with a low stone balustraded terrace to the left.
