Luzhniki Stadium
Luzhniki Stadium is Moscow's large national sports stadium, a circular multi‑tiered arena first opened in 1956 and extensively rebuilt in 2013–2017. It has served as the principal venue for Soviet and Russian athletics, major football finals and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

A vast circular arena with a low, continuous colonnaded stone facade in pale beige and repetitive tall vertical window bays, set in a sweep of parkland and paved forecourts. The roof is a wide segmented white dome with a clearly visible central circular open ring (oculus); the dome sits on a raised concrete ring with regular radial seams.
