Newton Castle
Newton Castle is a mid-16th-century tower house near Blairgowrie in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, later altered in the 18th century with a northwest wing added in 1883. It is a Category A listed building and has remained in private ownership. A subterranean vault associated with the property is recorded separately.

Compact L-plan tower house rising three to four storeys, finished in white harled plaster with steep slate roofs and prominent tall rectangular chimneys. A rounded projecting stair-turret punctuates the south-west corner; narrow vertical windows with some red-sandstone surrounds and a small gabled dormer puncture the roofline. A lower, later northwest wing attaches to the main block. The house sits directly beside a well-kept green lawn with mixed shrub borders and mature woodland close behind.

Newton Castle is a mid-16th-century tower house near Blairgowrie in Perth and Kinross, given minor alterations in the 18th century and a north-west wing in 1883, possibly by Lake Falconer. It is protected as a Category A listed building, and a subterranean vault, possibly discovered in 1911, is listed separately.
The Drummonds were among its owners — George Drummond, six times Lord Provost of Edinburgh, was born here in 1688 — followed by the Grahams of Balgowan, whose Thomas Graham fought as one of the Duke of Wellington's generals and took the title Lord Lynedoch. Colonel Alan Macpherson, 26th Hereditary Chief of Clan Macpherson, and Catharine Richardson Hill later bought the estate, and it has remained with the Macpherson chiefs ever since, passing to Jamie Macpherson, the 28th Hereditary Chief.
