Schloss Artstetten
Artstetten Castle (Schloss Artstetten) is a multi-wing historic schloss near the Wachau in Lower Austria that served as a Habsburg summer residence and later the Hohenberg family seat. The complex includes the attached parish church of St. Jakobus, family crypts beneath the church, and extensive terraced gardens; parts of the castle were converted for public museum display while the property remained in private ownership.

A white‑plastered multi‑wing schloss of two to three storeys, punctuated by cylindrical corner towers and a cluster of verdigris copper onion domes and a clock tower above red clay tile roofs. The east side is adjoined by the pale baroque parish church with tall round‑arched windows and a broad stone forecourt with steps. Terraced lawns, clipped parterres and specimen trees surround the building on a wooded hill above the Wachau valley; surfaces are clean and finished, park features intact.
