ArcelorMittal Orbit
The ArcelorMittal Orbit is a 114.5-metre red steel sculpture and observation tower in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, London. It combines a slender internal trunk housing elevators and stairs with an external open lattice of twisting red steel strands that surround two observation platforms and a two-storey viewing/gallery level.

A 114.5 m twisting lattice of bright red structural steel composed of interwoven tubular strands wraps a slim vertical trunk; the trunk narrows and then widens beneath two stacked observation platforms. A conical steel canopy of dark, individually shaped panels hangs at the base above a broad paved South Plaza. Glass-walled viewing galleries occupy the platforms and, in 2016, an enclosed transparent-section tunnel slide spirals down the exterior through the red tube.
