Petworth House
Petworth House is a late 17th-century country house in Petworth, West Sussex, long owned by the Percy and Wyndham families and now managed by the National Trust. The Baroque/Georgian stone mansion houses a major collection of paintings and sculptures and sits within extensive Capability Brown parkland with a large herd of fallow deer. Parts of an earlier medieval chapel and undercroft survive within the fabric of the house.
