Tyne Bridge

The Tyne Bridge is a single-span through-arch steel bridge carrying road and foot traffic across the River Tyne between Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead. Completed and opened in 1928, it features a green-painted parabolic steel arch with vertical hangers and paired granite towers at each end that frame the roadway.
