Mon Repos
Mon Repos is a 19th‑century neoclassical villa on Corfu that served as a British high commissioner’s summer residence and later as the Greek royal family’s summer palace. Today it houses the Museum of Palaiopolis within the restored villa and a second guesthouse building used for conservation workshops.

A narrow red paint band runs beneath the wide cornice. Grounds include clipped lawns, terracotta pots and scattered Mediterranean trees; shutters, stone columns and balustrades show crisp early‑19th‑century forms.
