The Gardens of Bomarzo (Sacro Bosco or Parco dei Mostri) is a 16th-century Mannerist monumental garden near Bomarzo, Italy, filled with large sculpted figures and small architectural follies set into a wooded valley. The ensemble comprises grotesque bas-reliefs and fully carved statues in local stone, with named features such as the Orcus mouth, the leaning house, a small theatre, and an octagonal Temple.

A wooded valley strewn with monumental sculptures carved directly from local peperino tuff and bedrock: vast grey stone faces, animals and hybrid figures with carved waves of hair, stairs cut into the rock, and isolated small buildings. Surfaces are weathered grey with patches of moss and lichen; many sculptures are partially hollowed so that dark cavities form entrances. An octagonal domed temple and a small tilted house punctuate the scattered sculptural ensembles, all set among trees and earthen paths.
