St. Mary's Basilica (Bazylika Mariacka) in Gdańsk is a late Gothic, triple-aisled brick hall church completed in 1502 and one of the largest brick churches in the world. The building has a massive square western tower, a long nave with high narrow pointed windows, and numerous chapels along its aisles and transepts.

An immense red-brown brick hall church stretching in a long rectangular block, capped by steep red-orange tile roofs and a squat square west tower with a multi-sloped tiled crown. The exterior walls are broad, largely unadorned brick punctured by very tall, narrow pointed-arch windows; gabled choir and transept ends are broken by stepped pinnacles and small octagonal corner turrets topped with slender metal spires. Several slim copper-green spires mark the transept and corner turrets; the scale is monumental and intact at its prime.
