Salona
Salona was an ancient Roman city and the capital of the province of Dalmatia, located at modern Solin near Split, Croatia. The archaeological park preserves extensive remains: city walls and gates, an episcopal complex with basilicas and a baptistery, a forum, theatres, baths, an amphitheatre, an aqueduct and cemeteries.
