What BT Tower looked like in its prime.

A narrow, cylindrical reinforced‑concrete tower sheathed in green‑tinted vertical glazing rises well above surrounding Georgian buildings. Around the upper third are several stacked circular service decks fitted with many round microwave dishes and parabolic antennas; above them sit the glazed bands of public floors and a rotating restaurant, and higher still a lattice mast and aerial rigging. A white band near the top carries company lettering and, just below it, a continuous LED screen encircles the shaft.
