What Church of St Peter ad Vincula, Tower Hamlets looked like in its prime.

Long, low Tudor chapel of pale dressed stone and rubble with a short west tower topped by a small white timber lantern bell-cote. The south elevation is punctured by a regular sequence of tall mullioned windows with cusped heads and leaded diamond panes. The roof is low-pitched behind a plain parapet. Inside, a single nave with a shorter north aisle, arcaded division to the sanctuary, plain stone floor scattered with tomb-slabs and a raised sanctuary at the east end.
