The O2 Arena
The O2 Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena housed within the Millennium Dome on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London. Opened in its present form in 2007, the arena contains a large configurable bowl used for concerts, sports and exhibitions and sits beneath the dome's white fabric roof and ring of yellow masts.

A large circular oculus cuts the roof. The perimeter shows repeated low arched bays and several silver cylindrical access towers at ground level. The scale is broad and horizontal — the dome spans hundreds of metres and reads as a continuous white membrane against the sky.
