Guinness Storehouse

The Guinness Storehouse is a seven-floor visitor attraction housed in the former St. James's Gate Brewery fermentation building in Dublin. It presents the ingredients and production of Guinness, advertising and brewery exhibits, a collection of archives, and multiple bars culminating in the seventh-floor Gravity Bar with panoramic city views. The attraction opened as the Storehouse in 2000 and occupies the multi-storey building around a central glass atrium.

A robust early-20th-century industrial building of rough grey masonry and recessed arched window bays, its entrance façade bears a large gilt harp and raised block letters reading 'GUINNESS STOREHOUSE'. Inside seven floors of galleries ring a tall glass atrium shaped like a pint glass; interior materials mix exposed brick, steel-frame balconies and glazed curtain walls. The top (seventh) floor has a wraparound panoramic bar with wide windows; brass and timber fittings appear in visitor bars and exhibits.
