Santa Croce in Gerusalemme is a Catholic minor basilica in the Esquilino rione of Rome, long venerated for relics of the Passion brought to Rome in late antiquity. The church occupies the site of the imperial Sessorium and today presents a concave late-Baroque travertine façade and an interior reorganised in the mid-18th century under Pope Benedict XIV.

Stone steps lead from the cobbled forecourt to the three entrance portals.
