A compact complex of pale beige ashlar buildings and terracotta roofs set on a paved terrace, dominated by a tall square bell‑tower with broad arched belfry openings and a 20th‑century stone façade with three large arched loggias and sculpted reliefs. Behind and above the buildings rise the vertical, rounded grey conglomerate spires of the Montserrat mountain. The basilica interior is a single, high nave lit by clerestory windows, supported by central carved wooden columns; the circular Camarín and two‑storey stone cloister open off inner courtyards.
