Ujazdów Castle
Ujazdów Castle is a historic castle in the Ujazdów district of Warsaw located between Ujazdów Park and the Royal Baths Park. Its fabric dates back to medieval beginnings but was substantially rebuilt in the 17th–18th centuries and reconstructed in the 20th century; today it houses Warsaw's Centre for Contemporary Art.

The shape it held in its prime.
A large rectangular two-storey building of white-rendered masonry with a continuous cornice and regularly spaced rectangular windows, capped by a broad green copper roof punctured by dormers and chimneys. Each corner is anchored by a square tower rising above the roofline and capped by a green copper cupola or domed lantern. Low outbuildings were raised to the main roof height to form a large enclosed courtyard; the castle sits between formal parkland and a paved approach.
