St Stephen's Green is a rectangular 22-acre public garden square in central Dublin, bounded by Georgian and Victorian terraces on all sides. What Saint Stephen's Green looked like in its prime.

A rectangular, tree‑lined 22‑acre urban park centred on a large circular formal parterre with radial gravel walks and small clipped lawns; broad, meandering gravel promenades run beneath dense rows of deciduous trees around the perimeter. A long irregular lake occupies the northwest quarter, crossed by a low stone bridge and fronted by an ornamental wooden gazebo and small artificial waterfall. Surrounding the park are continuous terraces of red‑brick and stucco Georgian/Victorian townhouses and the taller Shelbourne Hotel; cast‑iron railings and corner gates mark the site edges.
