The shape it held in its prime.
A long, low castellated main range with a continuous crenellated parapet and regular tall rectangular windows faces formal lawns and a shallow stone terrace. Multiple towers punctuate the silhouette: a prominent large cylindrical tower at the left, smaller round and square turrets at the ends, all built of darker stone ashlar. The roofline is dominated by battlemented parapets rather than high pitched roofs. The house sits within an extensive demesne of trees and ornamental ponds.
