Katedrála svatého Víta v Praze

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert (commonly St. Vitus Cathedral) is the Gothic metropolitan cathedral at Prague Castle and the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. It is the largest church in the country, containing royal tombs, chapels and the Bohemian crown jewels, and was completed in its present form in the early 20th century.

What St. Vitus Cathedral looked like in its prime.

A vast Gothic cathedral of dark-weathered sandstone with green patinated copper roofs and spires, a central tall tower and twin western towers, patterned slate roof bays, flying buttresses and dense tracery. The west facade shows large pointed portals beneath a glazed rose and a gilded mosaic (the Golden Gate); clerestory windows run along the nave and a compact five-bayed choir with ambulatory sits at the east. Stone corbels, carved busts in the triforium and richly ribbed vaults are visible where interiors open to light.
