The Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia (Barcelona Cathedral) is the Gothic seat of the archbishop of Barcelona. Construction began in 1298 and the medieval fabric was completed in the 15th century; a neo‑Gothic west façade and central tower were finished in 1913. The building contains a high choir, multiple chapels, a cloister with the Well of the Geese, and the crypt housing the relics of Saint Eulalia.
