A long, rectangular vaulted chapel about 35 m by 14 m with a shallow groin vault rising to roughly 20 m. All interior surfaces are frescoed: a sequence of large painted ceiling bays with polychrome human figures and framed architectural illusion, two tiers of narrative fresco cycles along the side walls, painted lower draperies, a carved marble transenna screen dividing nave and sanctuary, and an inlaid opus alexandrinum marble floor with concentric medallions and geometric bands.
