A sprawling, multi-level palace of ochre plaster and pale stone, composed of an asymmetrical cluster of rectangular blocks and low tiled roofs. The long cornice lines and rows of sash and pedimented windows step up from a broad balustraded terrace lined with classical marble statues. The complex is arranged around enclosed courtyards and loggias; façades show simple Renaissance mouldings and regular window bays against a bright blue Roman sky.
